Meet Our Dogs
2006 was the
year of our birth! As you may have gathered from our story,
becoming a quality breeder takes a lot of time and devotion.
This dream started in 2002 and in 2006 Happy Tails Ranch
produced it's first litters. Princess & Journey were the first
two girls in our program. They each produced three litters for
us and are now enjoying their retirement right here at Happy
Tail's. We have held back three of their daughters and they will
be producing puppies for us very soon!
*****
Chocolate Latte'
is a beautiful chocolate
Australian Multi-gen Labradoodle with a very precious and spunky
personality, extremely happy and playful. She was born with a
deep, dark chocolate coat and has faded to a lighter chocolate.
It is a soft, curly fleece coat.
Her picture shows her lighter than she actually is, although her
tail has turned a beautiful cafe' color. Latte' turned 2 years
old in March and will be bred for the first time on her next
cycle, which should be any day now. We are planning to breed her
with a very handsome young man named James Brown from Spring
Creek Labradoodles. Their puppies are expected to range in color
from dark chocolate to cafe and will mature at 25 to 30 pounds.

Ayita Misu
is a gorgeous apricot Australian Multi-gen Labradoodle with one of
the sweetest personalities I've ever seen. She has the most soulful
eyes and she steals the hearts of everyone she meets. When she wants
my attention, she just lays her
head in my lap and looks up at me. She stays there for the longest
time, even if I pretend not to notice. It's a very precious and
endearing game we play together. Ayita has a beautiful apricot
fleece coat that is extremely easy to care for. Her PennHIP scores
were excellent and, like Latte', she
also turned 2 years old in March and will be bred for the first time
on her next cycle. We are planning to breed her with the very
popular Elusive Legend from Mountain View Labradoodles. They are
expected to produce a range of colors from deep apricot to cream and
their pups will reach between 35 to 40 pounds. In Native
American, her name means "first to dance making ripples in the
water". Ayita loves the swimming pool and her water bowl!

Denali Rose
is my precious, precious baby. She has the most beautiful fleece
coat that I have ever seen, extremely soft with huge wavy curls.
When her coat is long, it looks like her hair has actually been set
with giant curlers! We call Denali a dancing puppy. She gets so
excited when anyone pays attention to her that she just dances all
over the place. Like her mommy, she thinks everyone in the whole
wide world was made
just for her! We are planning to breed Denali later this year, also with
Elusive Legend. Their puppies will range from deep apricot to
cream and are expected to mature at 30 to 35 pounds.

Our 'Retired
Matriarchs'
Princess & Journey
were our first two breeding girls. They were both born in
March of 2004 at Spring Creek and they
each produced 3 beautiful litters for us in 2006 & 2007. They are now
enjoying their retirement right here at Happy Tails at the ripe old age
of 4 years :) Some of their daughters are now taking their places.
They also produced a few girls that became breeders in other breeding
programs.

Spring
Creek's Princess Emily
Princess is
an F1b and was born on March 16, 2004. She comes from a long
line of Champion's on both sides of her pedigree. Her dam is
Spring Creek's Jilin's Silver Belle and her sire is Sunshinestar
Trusty. She is black with a small amount of silver around and on
her tail, ears and feet with silver lightly scattered throughout
her coat. The texture of her coat is very soft and wavy. She
stands 19 1/2" tall and weighs 35 pounds. Princess is very mellow,
extremely patient and highly intelligent. She is my constant
companion and self-appointed guardian. Please visit
Spring Creek Labradoodles photo gallery to view three of
Princess' litter mates. You will see one named Justice, one
named Ozzie who is a Delta Society Pet Partner and one that is
now a Guide Dog of America named Othello. Princess' dam
produced several dogs that are being trained as guide dogs and
therapy dogs.
Princess gave
birth to her first litter of puppies on March 14, 2006! She was
bred to a beautiful Chocolate Australian multi-gen named Marley.
They produced such beautiful puppies and such a wide variety of
colors that we chose to breed them a second time and she gave
birth to those puppies on October 30, 2006. Please
photos of their first litter. Princess gave birth to her third
and last litter of puppies on October 1st, 2007 and is now a
happy and retired young lady:)

Spring
Creek's Little Miss Journey
Journey is an
F1b and was born on March 20, 2004 and is a half sister to
Princess. Her dam is Spring Creek's Savannah and her sire is
Sunshinestar Trusty. She was a very apricot puppy, fading to a
cream apricot as she grew. She now has a very beautiful cream
coat, with lots of apricot on her ears and tail with a small
amount scattered throughout the rest of her coat. The texture of
her coat is very thick, curly and soft. Like Princess, she
stands 20 1/2"" tall and weighs 38 pounds. Journey (also called
'Blondie') has an extremely bouncy, happy go lucky personality.
She (and her daughter Denali) thinks everyone in the whole wide world was made just for
her! Please visit
Spring Creek Labradoodles to learn about one of
Journey's littermates, Georgia. The two are perfect examples of
the variety of coats that can be produced from the same litter.
Journey gave
birth to her first litter of puppies on March 20, 2006 which
just happens to be her birthday! She was bred to a gorgeous
Caramel Australian/American multi-gen named Noble. We were
blessed with a range of Apricots, Caramels and Creams in their
first litter and we bred her with Noble again. Journey gave
birth to only one puppy in her second litter on November 17,
2006. Please
see photos of their first puppies. Journey and Noble's 3rd and
last litter was born on June 3rd & 4th, 2007 and, like Princess,
is now a happy and retired young lady:)
